Exhibits, Galas, Demos, Oh MY!

I am excited to be one of two artists that will be doing live demonstrations THIS Friday (October 4th) at the Birdie Gallery in Noblesville, from 6:30-8:30pm! It also just so happens to be the annual Open Lens Photography exhibit and contest! And I entered three pieces into this year’s exhibit. There are a lot of seriously AMAZING entries. I look forward to seeing which ones earned ribbons during the awards ceremony at 7pm on Friday!! If you’d like to see my photos and also watch me work, please stop by!! In the spirit of this month’s exhibit, I decided to do a small (5x7in) piece of a camera. This framed original will be available Friday.

Two weeks ago, I was honored as a nominee for Artist of the Year at the Nickel Plate Arts Gala. What a wonderful experience that was!! And what a fun, dressy date night with my husband! 🙂
