In the midst of Life’s Storms…

We got to enjoy a beautiful morning with temps around 65 degrees earlier this week. It had been raining earlier in the morning and the temps dropped 40 degrees in one day! But we made the most of it and got out and colored all over our sidewalks and driveway.

I am SO thankful for these six little miracles in my home, keeping my focus where it should be – on love. I am trying to be in the Word more than in the news these days. When I am, I am so full of peace, hope, and JOY. When I consume more news from the world than LIFE from the Word of God, my heart grows anxious and worried.

These kids are mostly oblivious to what is going on around the world. They know we are staying in and away from all friends and family. And they know why. They haven’t seen any news or stories out there, and they have been playing games together, enjoying movies together, creating artwork, and chugging along with their studies. They have such light, positive attitudes, which is SUCH a beautiful blessing. I want to be more like them!

And the two year old is in a MAJOR hoarding phase right now. Cracks me up. For her, it’s ANYTHING she can collect. This week, it was sidewalk chalk! LOL

As for me, I have paused making our alphabet letters to spend time making some masks. Some of my girls tested a few for me. 🙂
